The recipient may have to pay import VAT (and customs duties, if payable) and a handling fee in the receiving country.
These charges will depend on the country we are sending to and the value (commercial goods), this process may lead to delays or returns.
EUROPEAN UNION (EU)

Changes to shipping to the EU (From 1st July 2021) will now incur import VAT. Previously any orders valued at 22 EUR or under were exempt, but from 1st July 2021, all physical goods, valued at 150 EUR or under, being sent to a customer in an EU country will incur the import VAT charged by that country. This process may lead to delays or returns.
IMPORT ONE-STOP-SHOP (IOSS)
The marketplace (e.g. Etsy, Amazon, Ebay etc) collect import VAT automatically on any orders it applies to.
These marketplaces have signed up to the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) which is an electronic portal that allows them to collect, declare and pay the VAT, instead of making the EU buyer pay it when the goods are imported into the EU.
GHOST SHIP EXPORTS® have a shop on Etsy, an IOSS registered marketplace, so the Etsy will take on the responsibility for collecting and paying VAT on B2C (Business to Customer) items with the value of 150 EUR or below. We provide Royal Mail the IOSS number and full customs data in the pre-advice to ensure your order is delivered across the EU without delay.
